For the uninitiated, Deepika was admitted to the hospital on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi following which the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani actor and his family were also spotted at the hospital. In fact, Ranveer and Deepika were seen seeking blessings at Mumbai's Lalbaugcha Raja a day before the Padmaavat actress was hospitalised. The diva was seen wearing a green saree with golden embroidery and Ranveer being a doting husband that he is was seen looking after her and shielding her as they arrived to seek Lord Ganesha's blessings. Announcing the baby girl's arrival, Ranveer shared a beautiful post on social media. Taking to Instagram, he shared a sweet post with a golden ribbon which had a note, "Welcome Baby Girl! 8.9.2024. Deepika & Ranveer".

For the uninitiated, Ranveer and Deepika, who have been married for almost six years, had announced the pregnancy early this year. Sharing a note on Instagram and shared a cute poster revealing that they will be welcoming their first child in September this year. Ever since then, Deepika has been winning hearts with her maternity fashion and has made sure to make heads turn everytime she stepped out in the city. In fact, Deepika's recent monochromatic pregnancy shoot had melted hearts as her pregnancy glow was unmissable as she embraced motherhood with a big smile.

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Deepika will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's upcoming directorial Singham Again which also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranveer Singh in the lead. In fact, Deepika will be seen playing the role of a cop for the first time in Singham Again which is likely to be out on Diwali this year.
