The movie is originally made in Telugu language but will premiere in several other regional languages as well including Hindi. But, since the movie is made in South, the biggest question is whether the story will connect with the Hindi audience. Answering the same, director Koratala Siva shared his thoughts ahead of the theatrical release.
Will Devara: Part 1 Connect With Hindi Audience?
NTR and Koratala Siva's Devara: Part 1 is all set to mark it's presence in cinemas on Friday. When talked about whether he thinks the movie will connect to Hindi audience, Koratala Siva said to 123Telugu, "I am not the kind of person who does those calculations." He added, "While penning the story or a particular sequence, I don't think if it would connect to the Hindi audience or not. I am weak at doing such things. I believe a film would connect with all language audiences if the story writing process happens organically." However, Koratala does not believe that one should think about any particular audience instead should focus on the quality of the movie. He said, "Are Lagaan and Dangal Bollywood movies or Tollywood movies? We gave a standing ovation to both of them. The directors of those films worked honestly and gave their best to the story. If the emotions and drama are presented well, there shouldn't be a doubt about the sensibilities of Hindi audience."
Devara: Part 1 features Janhvi Kapoor, NT Rama Rao Jr., Saif Ali Khan, and Prakash Raj. The movie is directed by Koratala Siva and is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Kosaraju Hari, Sudhakar Mikkilineni, and Hari Krishna K.
