Did You Know Actress Daisy Khatri Started Learning To Sing At The Age Of 3?

Actress Daisy Khatri is currently in the talk of the town for her performance in the Amazon Prime series- I'm Mature. The actress played the role of 'Kaavya' and gained immense appreciation for her acting prowess. However, do you know, apart from being a good actress, she is also a great singer? Yes, you read that right. Daisy started learning to sing at a very young age.

Sharing her journey of learning to sing, the actress says, "At the age of 3, I started learning to sing as a hobby class when I was in my hometown, Jaipur. Interestingly, I wasn't even able to speak clearly at that time, but my mother used to take me to singing classes just to sit and listen. When I was 6 years old, we relocated to Mumbai and I started learning at Ajivasan (Suresh Wadekar ji's academy). I learnt Indian classical music there for around 2.5 years and even learned Urdu to correct my diction. I'm currently learning western vocals at AR Rahman sir's KM music conservatory."

Daisy further adds, "2015 was the turning point for me when I met Brijbhushan Sir because I became serious about singing after I met him. From 2015 to 2020, my mother and I used to travel almost daily by bus during peak hours in the evening from four bungalows to bandra to learn from Brij sir. He has not only taught me about music but also so much about voice over, acting, direction, editing and even about life in general. I remember singing with Brij Sir and his wife Madhur Bhushan ma'am, who is the youngest sister of the icon Madhubala ji. I must say, she has always been like a guide to me and treated me like a family member."
