DYK Sarfira’s Radhikka Madan Never Wanted To Become An Actor? Here’s Where Her Preference Lies!

Actress Radhikka Madan has been garnering headlines ever since her performance came under the limelight for her recent film. She is undoubtedly one of the most talented names in Indian Cinema. After delivering numerous performances in recent years, Radhikka Madan gave one of the most loved performances as Rani, in her latest release Sarfira co-starring Akshay Kumar. In the movie, she showcased her acting skill as Marathi Mulghi. However, did you know that it was not her preference in the first place?
DYK Radhika Madan Didn't Want To Become An Actor?
In a recent interview, Radhikka was asked about the obstacles she faced in her early days when she decided to become an actor. Speaking about the same, she said, "Mujhe actor banna bhi nahi tha. Mujhe professional dancer banna tha.I am trained in jazz, ballet, and modern. I wanted to learn tap dancing, go to New York, travel the world." Concluding the same she said, "I wanted to open a dance studio where I teach tap."

It is well known that Radhikka is a trained dancer and in the films, she has skillfully showcased her abilities. Meanwhile, on the work front, she was last seen in Sarfira where she romances with Akshay Kumar, with whom she has 29 years of gap, talking about the same, she addressed, "It was there when the film was announced and when the trailer came out. But post the release surprisingly, I read 42 reviews and none of them mentioned about the age gap."
She went on to say, "All they mentioned was they have cracking chemistry, intense chemistry, and lovely chemistry. Everyone mentioned the chemistry. The same people who were saying that, 'why this' after watching the trailer."
Talking about the age gap, she further said, "Every explanation is beautifully shown in the film. Everything is addressed from the word 'go'. The age difference is addressed in my opening scene. The reason you don't feel that is because Veer and Rani's [their characters in the film] connection is way deeper. It's not that she's a good-looking younger chick or he is a handsome older guy."
Radhikka Madan will be seen in 'Sanna' directed by Sudhanshu Saria and also in 'Rumi Ki Sharafat', with Maddock Films.
