When Superstar Salman Khan Becomes The First Bone Marrow Donor In India

In 2010, Salman Khan donated his bone marrow to a little girl, named Pooja, and became the first bone marrow donor in India. According to Zee News, this case was followed by his pledge to donate bone marrow and registering himself as a donor in India. Thus, when the news of little Pooja needing bone marrow arose in the news, Salman Khan didn't hesitate to join the noble act. Later, Arbaaz Khan followed his brother's footsteps.

Salman and Arbaaz initially organized a football team who can help the child in transplantation. Later, when the football team withdrew, it was Salman, who donated the same to the little girl, according to Dr. Sunil Pareikh.

When Suneil Shetty Called Salman Khan 'God's Favorite Child'

Earlier Suniel Shetty called Salman Khan 'god's favorite child', he said, "Salman Khan is a good human being and that's why he talks that way. What did I do for him? I did nothing. Salman Khan donated his bone marrow many years ago to someone. Now that's a man who wants a change in society and that's why God is kind to him. God is taking care of him. He's God's favourite child!"
