Reportedly, the party's registration is imminent, signaling Vijay's potential debut in the 2026 Assembly elections, rather than participating in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. It's reported that Vijay's established fan group, Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, known for its active engagement in various social welfare initiatives, is being transformed into a fully-fledged political entity.
