ENT Highlights: Nitish Bharadwaj Files Complaint Against Ex-Wife, Hrithik’s Fighter Crosses 200Cr Mark

Actor Nitish Bharadwaj has reportedly lodged a police complaint against his wife, Smita Gate, an Additional Chief Secretary at the MP Human Rights Commission, alleging harassment and disorderly conduct. As reported by the Free Press Journal, Nitish approached the Bhopal police commissioner on Wednesday and submitted a written complaint against his spouse. According to the report, Nitish accused Smita in his complaint of obstructing his access to their twin daughters, Devyani and Shivranjani. He further alleged that Smita has been changing their daughters' schools to impede his visitation rights, which he claims has adversely affected his mental well-being. He has appealed to the CP to facilitate his meetings with his daughters. The report also indicates that Investigating Officer Phalguni Dixit is handling the case. Nitish Bharadwaj and his wife Smita, an IAS officer, initiated divorce proceedings after twelve years of marriage. They tied the knot in 2009 and separated in September 2019. Presently, Smita and their daughters reside in Indore.

During the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that he had been offered the role of the host in the acclaimed movie Slumdog Millionaire. Confirming that director Danny Boyle had extended the offer, Khan admitted to ultimately turning down the role, which later went to Anil Kapoor. Interestingly, Khan was already hosting the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, known as Kaun Banega Crorepati, when Boyle approached him for the role. Khan shared his perspective on the matter, stating, "Yes, Slumdog was there, now that you mention it. And I spend a lot of time with Mr. Boyle. He’s very sweet. But I was doing Who Wants to be a Millionaire (Kaun Banega Crorepati) on television, successfully at that time. And I just felt in the story that was being told, the guy who was hosting was very mean, in the story that was being told."
