The filmmakers recently unveiled the first look, generating significant anticipation among movie enthusiasts. Currently in the post-production phase, Dheera has an announced release date of February 2. With a distinctive storyline and a compelling narrative filled with edge-of-the-seat moments, the makers are gearing up for an aggressive promotional campaign in the upcoming days. Laksh Chadalavada is reported to deliver a power-packed performance in this action extravaganza, with Neha Pathan and Soniya Bansal featuring as the leading ladies. Penned and directed by Vikranth Srinivas, Dheera is produced under the banner of Sri Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara and presented by Chadalavada Brothers.

A day after makers had announced the title of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, the makers are now set to unveil the first song of the movie tomorrow. Titled as Laal Peeli Akhiyaan, the song will feature Shahid Kapoor setting the screens on fire with his moves

Director Anurag Basu’s upcoming movie “Metro... In Dino” has a new release date of September 13, 2024, the makers announced on Thursday. The film, a spiritual sequel to Basu's 2007 movie "Life in a... Metro", will feature an ensemble cast of Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. "#MetroInDino gets a new release date. This anthology of heartwarming stories will now release on 13th September 2024," T-Series posted on its social media handles. “Metro… In Dino” was previously scheduled to release in theatres in December 2023, before it was moved to March 29, 2024. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd. It has music by Pritam.

Tamil actor Suriya has concluded shooting for his next feature film, "Kanguva." Billed as a “mighty valiant saga," “Kanguva” is directed by filmmaker Siva and will be released later this year. "My last shot done for 'Kanguva'! An entire unit filled with positivity! It’s a finishing of one and beginning of many..! "Kanguva" backed by UV Creations and Studio Green also features actor Disha Patani. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It will be released in 3D in 10 different languages. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.

Ali Fazal's portrayal of Kahil in 'Kandahar' left a huge mark on both audiences and critics. For Kandahar, Ali undertook the rigorous task of learning dirt biking and executed daring stunts, adding authenticity to his character. A source reveals, “Ric is known for creating franchise films. And Kandahar too ended on a cliffhanger with a prospect of a sequel. Ali was the lead antagonist and will be reprising his role in the sequel. The film will soon start development”.

As the tension between India and Maldives continues to be rife, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) have urged the Indian filmmakers to boycott the shoots in Maldives. The official statement reads, “In view of the growing row between India and Maldives over the derogatory statement issued by three ministers of Maldives, the FWICE which is the oldest and largest Federal body of the workers, technicians and artists working in the media and entertainment industry, strongly condemns the most irresponsible and ridiculous remarks of the ministers of Maldives passed on globally respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. In solidarity with the nation and its wide culture, the members of the FWICE have decided to boycott Maldives for their shooting locations. Instead, the FWICE appeals its members to choose similar locations in India for their shooting purpose and contribute towards developing the tourism in India.”
