Heeramandi actress Sharmin Segal, who plays the role of Alamzeb in the Netflix series, has turned off her comment section on Instagram after receiving backlash from netizens for her acting. Several internet users claimed that she got the role because she is the niece of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the co-director of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.

The media reports suggested that the family members have claimed the body and will be taking it to Punjab for the last rites. To note, Thapan was arrested by the cops for allegedly supplying firearms and bullets to alleged shooters.
