According to India Today, Zee Studios is planning to release Fawad Khan-Mahira Khan starrer The Legend Of Maula Jatt in India. According to speculations, the film might have its theatrical release in India on 20th September 2024. Previously, the period action-drama was scheduled to have a theatrical release in India in December 2023 but got cancelled after facing opposition from Hindu far-right groups and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).
