Ent Highlights: Stree 2 Set To Outperform Vedaa; Khel Khel Mein OTT Platform CONFIRMED

Shraddha Kapoor's much-awaited horror comedy Stree 2 has finally hit the big screens and is already capturing the hearts of the audience. With her versatility on display, the actress is leading one of the biggest franchise films. The movie has seen phenomenal advance bookings, and Shraddha's charm is poised to make her the biggest female opener of the year. The film's release has indeed created a storm on social media, with netizens hailing Shraddha.

Vedaa is trending on all booking platforms. The movie has sold 3.63K tickets in last 1 hour and the numbers are expected to increase as day moves ahead.

According to the reports, the OTT streaming rights of Khel Khel Mein has been taken by Netflix. Indeed, Khel Khel Mein will release on OTT giant Netflix after it's theatrical release. Reportedly, Khel Khel Mein will be out on Netflix two months after it's theatrical run. Therefore, fans can expect Khel Khel Mein to watch on Netflix somewhere around October or November, 2024. Vedaa is a mid-budgeted project. According to the reports, John Abraham starrer Vedaa is made on the budget of around Rs. 50 Crore. This includes, cast fees and budget of the movie. However, the official figures are not out yet. In order to be a successful movie, Vedaa needs to earn more than Rs. 60 Crore. But in order to become a hit, Vedaa need to cross Rs. 70-80 Crore. It remains to be seen whether the movie will manage to mark itself in Rs. 100 crore list.

As per reports, Stree 2 is a mid-budgeted project, said to have been made with a budget estimated at over Rs 50 crore. However, the official figures aren't yet out. Early signs suggest that Stree 2 is all set to take the box office by storm and the occasion of Independence Day is going to further boost its business. It's likely to earn between Rs 30-40 crore on the domestic front on Friday and is expected to easily cross the Rs 100 crore mark in the extended weekend.
