On Monday, legendary filmmaker Shyam Benegal passed away at the age of 90. The funeral ceremony took place today at the Shivaji Park Electric Crematorium in Mumbai. The late legendary filmmaker was laid to rest with state honors. Javed Akhtar, Gulzar, Naseeruddin Shah and Shreyas Talpade among others celebs from Bollywood attended the last rites and bid an emotional farewell to Shyam Benegal.

Hyderabad police are focusing on arresting the key people who were involved in the Sandhya Theater stampede case. The police were also focusing on the bouncers who were responsible for controlling the crowd during the premiere of the movie.
