Malaika Arora has issued an emotional statement in the wake of her father Anil Mehta's passing on September 11, 2024. In a message shared on behalf of the family, she expressed profound grief and requested that the media and well-wishers respect their need for privacy during this challenging period. The official statement read: “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect.”

A Florida judge has officially finalized the divorce between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, declaring them both legally single. The decision was made after the Miami-Dade County judge approved a confidential settlement between the couple on Friday. This ruling comes one year after the Jonas Brothers singer, aged 35, initiated the divorce proceedings from the 28-year-old actress known for her roles in Game of Thrones and X-Men. Their divorce is finalized five years after their marriage.

The news of Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora's father Anil Arora's death by suicide shocked everyone today. Since morning, several celebrities including Arbaaz Khan, have been seen reaching the house of Malaika's dad. Now, her BFF Kareena Kapoor has also reached.

Malaika's ex in-laws Salim Khan, Salma Khan, and ex brother-in-law, Sohail Khan was also spotted in the venue to pay their last respect to Anil Arora.

After Malaika arrived, sister Amrita Arora was also seen arriving to the house amid their father's suicide. She was accompanied by her husband Shakeel Ladak. Amrita covered her face from both sides as paps tried capturing her. Without entertaining anyone, she and her husband instantly went inside the house.

He avoided the paps and instantly rushed inside the house to be with the family. To note, Anil Arora reportedly died by suicide, jumping off the terrace of the building.
