Amid the excitement of Pushpa 2 release, Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil is reportedly set for his Bollywood debut. According to a Peeping Moon report, Imtiaz Ali has supposedly roped in the Pushpa 2 star for his upcoming project. As the report further suggests, Fahadh will be romancing Triptii Dimri in the Imtiaz Ali film.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated Pushpa 2 release, the Kerala Film Producers Association (KFPA) has registered a complaint in Karnataka for the violation of arbitrary ticket pricing of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2. The complaint read, "As per the state's film exhibition rules, the Karnataka State Government has issued an order stating that no films should be screened in cinemas before 6:00 AM. Despite this order, some theatres in Karnataka are showing films before the scheduled time, which is a violation of the law. (sic)" We kindly request that immediate legal action be taken against these theatres that are violating the government's order. Furthermore, theatres charging exorbitant ticket prices (such as ₹500, ₹1000, ₹1500) from the public should also be dealt with legally. This action will help maintain compliance with the regulations, encourage fairness for regional language films, and support the development of the Kannada film industry.

"All We Imagine As Light" has continued its award winning spree by being named the best international film by New York Film Critics Circle just days after the movie won in the same category at the Gotham Awards. This is the third international recognition for the Malayalam-Hindi film in just a week as it won the Jury Grand Prize at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) 2024 before her wins at the two major New York-set awards. The movie, Kapadia's feature debut, scripted history in May by becoming the first film from India to win the Grand Prix award at the Cannes Film Festival.

According to a Zoom report, 37-year-old Vikrant Massey has decided to take a break from his acting career due to 'health issues'.
