Actor Ranbir Kapoor spoke about the sequel of his movie Animal. The actor said to Deadline Hollywood that director Sandeep wants Animal to be a three-part film. The sequel is revealed to be named "Animal Park." Ranbir also stated that the filming of the sequel is to start in 2027. But the twist is that the movie is trailing behind Kalki 2898 AD's collection in North America. To note, Kalki 2898 AD grossed M in the first weekend.

On the day of the release of Pushpa 2, a stampede took place that led to the death of a woman. ANI reported on December 9 that three people in connection with the stampede have been arrested. The accused are identified as- M Sandeep (37), one of the owners of Sandhya theater, senior manager M Nagaraju (51), and lower balcony in charge Gandhakam Vijay Chander (53). The police have registered the case under the sections 105, 118 (1), and other relevant sections at Chikkadpally police station. To note, the stampede took place on the night of December 4, 2024.
