The much awaited second season of "Paatal Lok" is set to premiere on Prime Video on January 17, the streamer announced on Monday. A case has been filed against six individuals from the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC) for allegedly damaging actor Allu Arjun's residence in connection with the Sandhya Theatre tragedy. According to the DCP of Hyderabad’s West Zone, strict measures have been taken against the accused.

Allu Arjun's father, Allu Aravind, has addressed the media, voicing his concerns over the recent attack on their residence. Condemning the incident, he firmly stated that such actions are unacceptable and should never be encouraged. During a press interaction at the residence he shares with Allu Arjun, Allu Aravind said, “Everyone has seen what happened at our house today. But it is time for us to act accordingly. Now is not the right time for us to react to anything." He also mentioned that the police have apprehended the vandals and registered a case against them. “The police are ready to take away anyone else who comes here to create a ruckus. No one should encourage incidents like these," he said. “But I will not react just because the media is here. Now is the time to practice restraint. The law will take its own course," he concluded.
