Entertainment Highlights: Stree 2 To Re-release In Theatres; Salman Khan Gave Blank Cheque To Bishonois

We all know that Kriti Sanon is playing the dual role of twin sisters. Shaheer Sheikh is the boyfriend of one of the sisters, and the other sister tries hard to snatch him away. Kajol, on the other hand, is playing the role of investigating officer. The viewers believe that Do Patti is probably one of the movies where Kriti Sanon has played the best role. Varun Dhawan recently revealed that his dad, David Dhawan got angry when he found out that Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is baby Varun's favorite instead of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which was released around the same time. He said, “The Bade Miyan Chote Miyan premiere was in London. I don’t know why they did it there and the producers had got us a limousine with faces of Govinda and Amitabh Bachchan pasted on it. We were going through the streets of London in that limousine, with both of them making funny faces in the poster. But I was dying to watch Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and I didn’t even know Karan at that point of time." Varun added, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai just felt like a cooler film, but my dad was like, ‘Stop it, I will leave you on the streets here’. I remember telling him you can’t treat children here like this and my dad was like, ‘He is so badly behaved, why did I get him here’. Day one of Bade Miyan was bigger because of the mass factor but obviously Kuch Kuch Hota Hai went on to become huge. And I ultimately got launched by Karan Johar".

Pankaj Tripathi's wife Mridula Tripathi claimed that the actor's mother has still not accepted her. Elaborating the same, she said, “It's still not acceptable. We aren't blood relatives, but in our culture, it is unacceptable for a woman to be married into a family of a lower stature, if another woman has already been married into a family of a higher stature. And because my sister-in-law had been married above her station into my family, I couldn't be married into their family, which was considered of a lower stature.” She further said, “My mother-in-law hasn't accepted me to this day, for the reasons I mentioned earlier. She is still upset about this intermingling. But what can we do about it now?”

Malayalam actor Bala, who got married for the third time to his relative Kokila in a low-key ceremony, took to social media account and requested privacy from media. Akshay Kumar, who was an integral part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa back in 2007, has made a permanent spot in audience's heart. Talking about his possible appearance in part 3, director Anees Bazmee said, “Akshay ji was so good in Bhool Bhulaiyaa that the thought of having a sequel without him was tough. But we made Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with a lot of earnestness and heart with the resources available at hand. Once it released, people liked Kartik as much as they had liked Akshay ji.” He further said, “I know that I can reach out to him anytime. I don’t even need to think twice before doing that. I’ve a lot of love for him. Mujhe lagta hai ki mera ek haq hai unpe. I know that I can insist and coax him to play a character in my films. Bahot kam log hai jinke upar main aisa haq jata sakta hoon. That’s the kind of relationship I’ve with him. And if a character or a cameo suits him, he’ll do it for sure."

Kpop singer Aoora talks about her performing Malayalam songs. Calling India her second home, she said, “It truly feels like my second home. In fact, when I go to Korea now, I feel like I am going for a vacation." Talking about her Malayalam stint, she said, “I love South Indian music because of its rich sound and energy. When I decided to sing Malayalam songs, it was because I loved the beats and song theme. It gave me an opportunity to learn so much about a new culture and place. It took me almost one month to get the diction correct, but I am happy with the love it received. Having said that, I am learning English and Hindi now. I would love to learn more languages too."

Stree 2 is all set to re-release in theatres ahead of Halloween. Not only Stree 2, but Maddock films' Bhediya and Munjya are all set to re-release in theatres alongside Stree 2 this Halloween. Lawrence Bishnoi's cousin, Ramesh Bishnoi, has offered a blank cheque to Bishnoi community after killing the blackbuck in 1998. He claimed that the actor came to the community leader with a blank cheque and asked him to fill the price they want to end the matter right there. He said, "If we were after money, we would have accepted it." He further added, "Hamara khoon khol raha tha uss waqt (Our blood was boiling at that time)."
