Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone has been making it to te headlines for multiple reasons. Despite getting great reviews and positive word of mouth, the film has received a lukewarm response at the box office. However, everyone is praising the performances of the actors in the movie. Rishabh Sawhney, who plays the role of the antagonist in Fighter, has made his Bollywood debut with the film.
While Rishabh has got a chance to share screen space with Hrithik in the film, he doesn't have a seen with Deepika. Filmibeat recently interacted with Rishabh and when asked him whether he asked Siddharth Anand to give him one scene with the actress, he blushed and said, "No, I didn't tell this to Siddharth Anand, but I wanted to do a scene with her because I don't know when will I get a chance to work with her again. Hopefully soon! So yes, I didn't say but it was there in my heart like at least I should get a small scene like a passing shot with her."
Rishabh Sawhney On Meeting Deepika Padukone
Further when asked if he has met Deepika personally, the actor revealed a very gesture that the actress did for her mom. Rishabh said, "I met her directly at the premiere. Our shooting days were also different. So, when I met her at the premiere, I told her, 'Finally, ma'am I got to meet you' and she also said the same thing, and told me I have given a great performance. So, I was pretty happy with that."
"But, the best part was, on the day of the premiere, she was getting clicked by the paps, and she saw me and we told 'hi' to each other. She had met my mom earlier, so she asked me 'where's your mom?' and my mom was at the other side of the podium, she turned around, she met my mom and hugged her. She met my mom so respectfully that really melted my heart. My mom was also very happy and even I was because of that," he added.
Well, now we know why everyone loves Deepika so much!
