Fighter Villain Rishabh Sawhney Gets Praise From Shah Rukh Khan

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter is creating huge buzz for all the right reasons. The Siddharth Anand directorial is the first big release of the year and all its production assets have just increased the audience's excitement. One of the most closely guarded secret was the film's villain, Rishabh Sawhney, who was revealed with the trailer. While he has been getting a lot of love from the audience, he has found one of his biggest admirers in Shah Rukh Khan.

Fighter is just a few days away from release and the team is busy promoting the film. During one of the promotional interviews, Siddharth Anand revealed how SRK reacted to Fighter's trailer. The King Khan was all praise for the trailer, including Rishabh's villainous avatar. Siddharth shared, "Shah Rukh loved the trailer. In fact, I met him the day it was released. He loved the look of the villain and the stunts. According to him, the CGI appeared very seamless. He was very impressed."

Rishabh is being called one of the 'hottest villains' in Bollywood for his role in Fighter. The film marks his Bollywood debut as well. Before this, the actor was seen in Nikkhil Advani's The Empire, which served as his OTT debut. He had to undergo a rigorous transformation for his role in Fighter, which is completely different from his look in The Empire and the results are for everyone to see. As for Fighter, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover and Sanjeeda Shaikh. It releases in theatres worldwide during Republic Day weekend on January 25, 2024
