Govinda Health Update: Govinda’s First Video Post Discharge Goes Viral; Actor Says ‘Main Safe Hu’

Govinda Discharge Video: Renowned actor Govinda has been all over the headlines lately ever since he was injured in a shocking shooting incident. According to media reports, Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg earlier this week and was rushed to the hospital. While he was undergoing a treatment in Mumbai's CritiCare Hospital, fans have been quite worried about Govinda's health. And now, as per a recent update, Govinda has been discharged from the hospital. In a viral video, Govinda was seen sitting in a wheelchair and was waving at the paps.

For the uninitiated, Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha had informed that Govinda got injured accidently while he was keeping his licensed revolver in the case after cleaning. It so happened that the loaded revolver fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit Govinda's leg. While he was kept in the ICU initially, he was lately shifted to the general ward as his health improved. And now, he has been discharged from the hospital and his fans are over the moon.

In the first video which came from the hospital, Govinda was seen having a knee-immobilizer on his leg to keep his leg straight. He was all smiles at the paps and was seen greeting them with folded hands and flying kisses. Govinda was accompanied by his wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina. The actor was also seen wishing 'Happy Navratri' to the paps.

Govinda's First Statement Post Discharge

Later, while interacting with the paps, Govinda expressed gratitude towards his fans and well wishers. He stated, "Mujhe prem mila, Jahan Jahan puja hui, duayein padhi gayi, ardaas ki gayi, prayers huye, main sab logon ka dhanyawaad deta hu. Aur prashan se jude huye police walon ka dhanyawaad deta hu, aadarniye Shinde Saab ka dhanyawaad deta hu. Sb log jo mujhe prem karte hain, aap logon ki kripa aur aashirwad se main safe hu. Thank you so much for the love. Jai Mata Ki".

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Crime Branch has initiated a parallel enquiry in the matter and has seized the revolver. As per a report published in News18, the cops are not fully convinced by the actor's story.
