Revealing their names, he says, "Well, the older one is called Messi. He's a Labrador, and he's six years old. He was a gift to me after I completed Gully Boy. He's named after the football player Lionel Messi. The second one is younger; he's seven months old. His name is Jobs, named after Steve Jobs."

Sharing why he gave them their names he says, "I always wanted to feel close to my idols. It's like I'm Eklavya and they are my Dronacharyas. I feel my dogs guide me to make the right decisions in life."

The actor shares that they actually do embody qualities of the personalities they are named after. "Messi has an amazing talent - he always manages to sneak out. He'll figure out a way, just like how no one can restrict Lionel Messi's movement on the field. You can't confine him to a space. He loves the outdoors and going on adventures. Jobs, on the other hand, is very stubborn. He won't take no for an answer. You have to play fetch with him, whether it's a ball or a toy fish, whenever he wants it. I think animals truly live by the philosophy of living as if today is their last day, and Jobs really embodies that. Also, he loves apples and carrots."
