Exclusive! Guru Randhawa On Doing A Film With Shehnaaz Gill, "She Is A Very Dear Friend..."

Guru Randhawa is undoubtedly one of the best singers we have in the Indian film industry. Now, he is all set to make his acting debut with the film Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay which also stars Saiee Manjrekar in the lead role. Well, last month, Guru and Shehnaaz's song Sunrise was released and their chemistry was loved by one and all. Now, fans of Gurunaaz surely wants them to do a movie together as actors.

Filmibeat recently interacted with Guru and when we told them about the fans' comment, he said, "Are these guys the producer of the movie? (smiles)"

Further when asked him if he would like to collaborate with Shehnaaz for a film, the actor said, "People always ask me with whom I would like to do the film, and I say whoever has money and time because it takes a lot of money to make a film. So, if someone feels that they can make a movie with me and Shehnaaz, then I will welcome them. But, thank you to everyone for giving those songs so much love."

"Shehnaaz is a very dear friend of mine and we come from same place, we have the same kind of masti, same language, and our jokes are similar, so people like to watch us on and off screen. So, thank you to everyone," he added.

Talking about Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay, the film, which also stars Anupam Kher in a pivotal role, is slated to release on 16th February 2024. It is directed by G Ashok.
