Beyond her rich Pataudi lineage, Bollywood actress and our birthday girl Sara Ali Khan also shares a distinctive relation with none other than Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore by blood. And the illustrious connection comes from her 'badi amma' Sharmila Tagore Yes, you read that right!

Sara's paternal grandmother and legendary actress Sharmila Tagore's father Gitindranath Tagore was the grandson of the famous Bengali painter Gaganendranath Tagore. His father was Rabindranath's cousin, making the 'Kashmir Ki Kali' actress' great-great-grandfather Rabindranath's cousin.

On the other hand, Sharmila Ji's mother Ira was the grand daughter of Rabindranath's cousin Dwijendranath Tagore. That means, Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan's sons Taimur and Jeh are also the great-great grandsons of the Nobel laureate's brother Dwijendranath.
