As per latest reports, Imran, who was last seen opposite Kangana Ranaut in the 2015 film Katti Batti, is all set to making an acting comeback with his uncle Aamir Khan's next.

Imran Khan To Return On Screens After 9-Year-Long Hiatus

As per reports, Imran has already started shooting for his comeback film in Goa. The project is reportedly being bankrolled by his uncle Aamir Khan under his production house Aamir Khan productions.

Imran's comeback film is written and directed by renowned comedian-actor Vir Das. For those unawared, Imran and Vir had previously co-starred in Delhi Belly (2011), an yet another Aamir Khan's production venture.

Titled Happy Patel, Imran's comeback project is said to be a quirky spy-comedy. Imran plays the titular role and will be seen as a secret agent. Aamir will also make a special appearance as a don in this film. The 3 Idiots actor is expected to wrap up shooting for his portion today (April 29) in Goa.

"It's a spy film with a dash of comic touch and explores an untapped and brand new terrain in Bollywood cinema. Imran will be playing a secret agent in this film, alongside Vir Das, who is also directing, writing, and co-producing it. This is a fun entertainer packed with comedy, action, drama, and lots of twists, much like their highly acclaimed black comedy, Delhi Belly," a sournce informed the portal.

Reportedly, Netflix's Little Things fame Mithila Palkar, Sharib Hashmi and Mona Singh have been roped in to play important roles. As the report further suggests, renowned singer Ash King is making his acting debut in Happy Patel.
