Working with International Directors
One of Sheena's significant collaborations was with Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, an international director celebrated for his intense and innovative preparation methods. To prepare for her role in Farooki's film, Sheena underwent rigorous dialect coaching and extensive script reading sessions. Despite the script's constant evolution, she adapted and delivered a compelling performance, which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Shanghai Film Festival.

This approach showcased her ability to create layered and authentic characters.
Her collaboration with Aditya Om, an independent filmmaker, was particularly enriching. Aditya Om's meticulous attention to detail and respect for religious sensitivities and historical accuracies allowed Sheena to delve deeply into her character. She conducted thorough research and spent time with village women to portray her character authentically. Aditya Om's guidance and creative freedom enabled Sheena to bring depth and authenticity to her role.
