Ira Khan Nupur Shikhare Mumbai reception: Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan, and Nupur Shikhare's wedding has been making headlines for quite some time now. After an intimate registered marriage in Mumbai, the couple had a lavish five-day elaborate social wedding in Udaipur.

Their elaborate Udaipur wedding spanned from January 6 to 10, and dreamy pictures and videos from their Christian wedding have been doing the rounds on the internet. And now, the newlyweds are set to host a grand reception in Mumbai today.

Ira-Nupur's Mumbai reception

On January 13, Saturday, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare will be hosting a lavish reception in Mumbai. According to a report by India Today, over 2500 guests are expected to attend the function, which will be held at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) venue.

Quoting a source, the outlet wrote, "Aamir Khan has extended a warm invitation to everyone in the industry. From Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan, Ambanis, Kapoors, Bhatts, Deols, everyone is expected to attend the grand wedding reception in Mumbai. For the wedding reception, Ambanis have given their venue at NMACC to accommodate the guests."

It is suggested that more than 2500 guests have been invited by Aamir Khan, which also includes some prominent politicians.

Further, the report also mentioned that there will be nine different kinds of cuisines at the reception. "The Khans have kept a plethora of menus for guests. A total of 9 different state cuisines are a part of the reception venue. The Gujarati menu apparently dominates the palate, with Lucknowi and Maharashtrian food also on the list."

Aamir Khan has personally extended the invitation to everyone and requested that they come and bless the couple. They have urged guests to avoid giving them any gifts. The actor had made arrangements for music and party vibes for the guests' enjoyment.

Ira's mom, Reena Dutta, took to her Instagram page last night and dropped an emotional picture from the wedding featuring Ira and Aamir and wrote, "I have your back always my baby girl @khan.ira Love you."

Ira and Nupur dated for a while before getting hitched this year.
