Aamir Khan Dances To Rajasthani Folk Music With Ex-Wife Kiran Rao As Daughter Ira's Wedding Festivities Begins
Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare Udaipur wedding: Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan's wedding festivities are not over yet. After registration, Ira and her husband, Nupur Shikhare, will reportedly get married in a traditional ceremony in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Ira and Nupur signed the marriage registration document on January 3 in the presence of close friends and families at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Aamir and his family are now in Udaipur, and the wedding festivities have begun on Sunday, January 7, in full swing.
Aamir, Kiran Rao dance to Rajasthani folk music
As Ira and Nupur's traditional wedding pre-wedding festivities began today, proud and happy father Aamir Khan was seen dancing merrily with his ex-wife Kiran Rao to Rajasthani folk music.
A video of the 58-year-old actor and his ex-wife dancing to Rajasthani folk music was shared by a paparazzo account and is now going viral on the internet. Aamir can be seen in a white and blue kurta and black balloon pants, while Kiran wore a grey top and black cargo pants.
As the celebs danced, a man was seen singing, and women dressed in colourful Rajasthani attire were seen doing folk dance steps, whereas in the background, a group of men were playing music instruments.
Ira-Nupur wedding
It is reported that Aamir and Kiran's son Azad will be performing a piano piece at his sister's wedding. The wedding menu will include Gujarati and Maharashtrian dishes.
Revealing some details about the wedding, the news agency IANS wrote, "The wedding festivities of Ira and Nupur will take place from January 7 to 10, and Aamir, the doting father, is looking after the arrangement in great detail."
"The menu will include Gujarati and Maharashtrian cuisines. Earlier, during the function at Mumbai, Aamir had flown down a chef from Amritsar for the Amritsari kulchas and a street food curator from Uttar Pradesh."
For her wedding in Mumbai, Ira wore ethnic harem pants and a blouse. She styled the outfit with a matching dupatta. Nupur, on the other hand, wore a black vest and white shorts as he jogged to the venue to sign the marriage documents.
