"It Started During Covid": Sonu Sood Shares How Fateh Came To Life Amid Cyber Threats

Sonu Sood's Fateh takes you deep into the shadows of the digital world, where the stakes are sky-high and the action never stops. Sonu Sood stars as an ex-special ops officer, skilled and haunted by a dark past, on a mission to bring down a vast network of cybercriminals.The trailer offers a sneak peek into a gripping story, where the search for a missing woman ignites a fierce battle fought with fists, firepower, and unwavering resolve.

At the trailer launch, Sonu opened up about the journey with Fateh, explaining how it all began three and a half years ago. "It started during Covid, when I was connecting with people, and cyber threats were everywhere," he said. "That's when the idea for this story came to me. During that time, a lot of films were being released, and I felt this was the right moment to tell a story like this."

He also shared how what began as a simple idea quickly grew into something much bigger. "When we started working on the script, I never imagined we'd shoot in the US or Dubai," Sonu explained. With top Hollywood professionals like Lee Whittaker on board, Fateh soon became an international collaboration. "It's been an incredible journey, with so many talented people joining in, and today, here we are," he said.

"A film's story is above everything," Sonu added. "It's a journey shaped by many, and now, it's out for the world to see."Alongside Sonu, Jacqueline Fernandez plays an ethical hacker, while Vijay Raaz and Naseeruddin Shah bring depth to this high-octane action thriller.
