Recently, the matriarch of Bachchan family went furious at the parliament when she was called 'Jaya Amitabh Bachchan' by the Rajyasabha Deputy Chairman, Harivansh Narayan Singh. In the viral video, the deputy chairperson could be heard calling Jaya as "Shrimati Jaya Amitabh Bachchan ji, please." To which Jaya replied, "Sir, sirf Jaya Bachchan bolte to kaafi hojata (It would've been enough to call me Jaya Bachchan)." However it was pointed out that her name was registered as Smt. Jaya Amitabh Bachchan.
