Exclusive! Jibraan Khan Reveals If He Has Spoken to Shah Rukh Khan, "I Made Sure My Message..."

Jibraan Khan made his debut as a lead with the recently released film Ishq Vishk Rebound. Though the film didn't do well at the box office, Jibraan's performance was loved by one and all. As a child actor, he had been a part of multiple movies including Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in which he played the role of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's son, Krish.

Filmibeat recently interacted with Jibraan and when asked him if he has spoken to Shah Rukh Khan about him making his debut as a lead now, the actor said, "No, I haven't. But, I made sure my message reaches to him that 'there's a boy here who has grown up loving you, fan boying you. He is making his debut now, he has worked with you'. I just wanted him to know that; I didn't want any post, and I didn't expect any message from him. But, I just wanted him to know that there is a film coming out like Ishq Vishk Rebound, there is a boy who had worked with you, and he has begun his journey, and that message did reach him. So, that was one of the high points in the promotions that I got to know, and I was very happy."

Jibraan owns a cafe in Bandra, Mumbai which is very near to Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow Mannat. When asked him, if SRK has visited his cafe, Jibraan said, "To be honest, I even tell this to my staff that I started Grounded only because of that; that one day, to drink coffee he comes here. His family has come here, Gauri ma'am, Suhana and his kids have come here, so that i a win for me that they at least made time and came here. But yes, that is a manifestation that I want Shah Rukh sir to stop by one night and pick up a cup of coffee."

Well, Jibraan's role in Ishq Vishk Rebound was quite small. But, he impressed one and all, and now, everyone is keen to watch him more on the big screens.
