Josh Creator Vikas Shakya Now Grab Best Fashion Choreographer Of India 2024 Awards At India Icon Awards

Josh is one of the most popular short video making apps in India and enjoys a massive fan following and a strong market position. The app has not just given the creators a platform to showcase their talent but has also been a great source of entertainment. Needless to say, Josh has turned out to be a lifechanging opportunity for many creators. One such creator is 28 year old Vikas Shakya who hails from Ghazipur, Varanasi.

For the uninitiated, Vikas happened to be an agriculture student who has done his masters in Genetics and Plant Breeding into agriculture and professional yogacharya from Banaras Hindu University. This isn't all. He has also won Mr India Icon 2021 and has been doing Fashion grooming and choreography along with modelling assignments. Talking about his association with Josh, Vikas revealed he started his journey during the pandemic.

"I was multitalented since childhood but after getting platform like Josh I have shown all the talents like dance singing playing instruments acting mimicry gym and yoga videos," he added. Vikas also emphasised that this transition from student to model and creator wasn't easy as he hails from a farming background in a small town. However, things changed after he won Mr India Icon and Model of the year in 2021. Following this he ventured in to content creation on Josh.

To note, Josh turned out to be a game changer for Vikas as it provided Vikas with collaboration with multiple brands as well as support to grow profile on social media. He got the opportunity to work with Josh through one of Community manager following which Vikas actively participated into trends and hashtags. Gradually his profile grew and he managed to garner millions of fans along with collabs with reputed brands which help him shine.

Besides, his own skills and knowledge helped him groom aspiring models and made him the best fashion choreographer and groomer. In fact, he also went on to win the Best fashion choreographer of India award 2024 at India Icon Awards Lukhnow by Mahekk Chahal (Naagin actress). This isn't all. Vikash also got the most versatile creator tag and was also honored with Josh trendsetter award by Josh during an event in Varanasi 2022.

Meanwhile, talking about his future plans, Vikas stated that he wants to grow so that he can help his community and town. Besides, he also wants to make a statement that a small town boy from a farming background can also achieve their dreams. Sharing a piece of advice for influencers and budding artists, Vikas stated that one must utilise all the opportunities one get in their life.
