Kalki 2898 AD: Kalki 2898 AD is one of the major projects in Deepika Padukone's career. After the film was wrapped up, the actress announced pregnancy with her husband, Ranveer Singh. Deepika, who plays the role of SUM-80, a pregnancy test object, was actually pregnant in real-life, and husband Ranveer was present in the set, as shared by Saswata Chatterjee.

Saswata Chatterjee, who played the role of commander Manas in the film, said in the interview, "Deepika is just ever-smiling. There is a scene in the film where I drag her by the hair. It was part of the last leg of the shoot and was shot in Mumbai because Deepika was pregnant by then. There was a lot of physical tussle in the scene, so I told Ranveer, don't worry, for more physically challenging scenes, there's a body double. He was so polite and humble. He smiled and said, I know, Dada."

For the unversed, in the climax scene there was a lot of tussle with commander Manas with Ashwatthama which later resulted in dragging SUM-80 away with her hair.
