On the other hand, Deepika Padukone reportedly plays the role of Prabhas' love interest in Kalki 2898 AD.

As per Hindu mythology, Padma is considered to be an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. While fans are in awe of her look in Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika was seen as a pregnant woman in the trailer and was flaunting a baby bump. Needless to say, her pregnancy look is certainly winning hearts. To note, the Bajirao Mastani actress is expecting her first baby in real life and is expected to welcome the baby in September this year. Meanwhile, Nag Ashwin in his interaction with Deadline stated that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus". He further asserted, "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process".
