Kangana Ranaut Reacts On Jaya Bachchan's Comment: Kangana Ranaut has recently been busy with her interviews and promotional events for her upcoming movie "Emergency" that is based on former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. In her recent interview, she addressed Jaya Bachchan feeling offended after being referred as "Jaya Amitabh Bachchan" in the parliament. Back the, Jaya Bachchan bagged headlines for arguing with chairman Jagdeep Dhankar for addressing her with her husband, Amitabha Bachchan's name. She said that women have their own identity besides being referred with their husband's name. During a recent chat, Kangana addressed the same, calling it a "petty issue." See what she has to say.
Kangana Ranaut Reacts On Jaya Bachchan's Parliament Controversy
During an interview with Fever FM, Kangana Ranaut reacted on Jaya Bachchan's Parliament video where she is seen being offended by being called by her husband's name. Kangana says, "This is a very shameful thing today, the difference between a man and a woman are very beautiful, that differences are looked at as discrimination, jo ki sachai nahi h." She added, "A man is a man and a woman is a woman and their togetherness is a beautiful happening aur mujhe nahi lagta hai ki is tarah ke petty issues ke why i am addressed with my husband's name...people in the name of feminism they're just going into such an ugly direction..." She claimed that we need to embrace the differences. Kangana went on to call Jaya's reaction to be "so sad."
Talking about Kangana's upcoming movie Emergency, it is slated to release on September 6, 2024. The movie features Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Milind Soman, and Mahima Chaudhry.
