Karan Johar REACTS To Kangana Ranaut Getting Slapped

Kangana Ranaut Slapping Incident: Karan Johar, who has been known as the arch rival of Kangana Ranaut, has finally passed a statement on Kangana getting slapped by CISF officer, Kulwinder Kaur, at Chandigarh airport. Karan Johar recently attended the trailer launch of Kill, the co-production project of his, on Wednesday evening, where he was asked about the recent incident that took place at Chandigarh airport with the actress, Kangana Ranaut. Karan took a moment to reply and said, "Dekhiye (See), I don't support or condone any form of violence, verbal or physical." He ended his comment with a sly smile.

While he mentioned 'verbal', it might sound like a sly dig at all the verbal attacks Kangana made against him on his show Koffee With Karan back in 2017. Even after that period, Kangana continued to leave remarks against the filmmaker for supporting 'nepotism' and having an intolerance against the 'outsiders' of the industry.

More About The Incident Happened To Kangana Ranaut At Chandigarh Airport

For the unversed, a day after Kangana Ranaut won Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from Mandi Constituency, she was traveling from Chandigarh airport where the recently turned BJP MP was slapped by a CISF constable, Kulwinder Kaur. The policeman alleged that Kangana instigated her in the name of farmer protest. Later Kangana claimed that this action was for her recent remarks on Khalistan.

After the incident, many Bollywood celebrities have condemned the attack including Kangana's alleged ex, Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Zoya Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Soni Razdan, Sonakshi Sinha, Anupam Kher, Vishal Agnihotri, among others.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for Emergency, where she portrays the life of former prime minister, Indira Gandhi, especially during the Emergency period. The film is currently postponed as the actress was busy in the rallies and elections activities.
