Abhishek Bachchan portrayed the role of a soldier in 'LOC: Kargil.' Sharing his emotions, he said in a video, "On this 25th anniversary of Kargil, firstly I'd like to remember all the great martyrs who gave the supreme sacrifice to keep us safe and the sovereignty of the nation of this nation." He added "My respect and love for all of your in the armed forces remains and grows each day. 25 years of remembrance of bravery and most of all, from us citizens of the country, an feeling of safety and pride that we know that you all are there on the borders to take care of us."

Sidharth Malhotra was also seen playing the role of Captain Vikram Batra in his movie "Shershaah."
