A source exclusively revealed to Bollywood Hungama that Chandu Champion actor Kartik Aaryan has been locked to reprise his role in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. The source said, "Kartik loved the script of PPAW 2 and, as soon as he gave his nod, the makers decided to get this one rolling soon." The source further claimed that Kartik is currently following a tight schedule as his several films are lined up. The makers are yet to secure Kartik's date for Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. Once Kartik wraps the shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 will go on the floors.

Pati Patni Aur Woh was released in 2019 and was loved by the audience because of it's unique storyline. The movie features Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar as Kartik's co-stars. It is to be seen whether the makers will once again return the original female lead to the sequel.
