To note, Kisko Tha Pata marks Akshay's first collaboration with Ashnoor and he has been all praises for her. During an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, Ashnoor stated, "I really didn't expect her to be a great actress. She is only 19 and the character is such a mature character, I was like how will she pull it off. She has not lived enough life to pull it off. And I knew that she was a TV actress and not to demean TV actress but there is always a tag and stereotype to TV actress. She broke all of it. On the first day itself I was like 'Oh My God'. She kept me on my toes. She was fantastic"

Furthermore, Akshay had also shared that his role in Kisko Tha Pata has been quite special. " I really enjoyed it because it has a mix, it got shades of both. He is the one with gamut of emotions. Even when I read the script for the first time, I was so attracted to playing this part because it was a real challenge but also quite fun," he added.

Meanwhile talking about the upcoming projects, Akshay stated that he is currently shooting for a Kannada film Toxic with Yash. Besides, he will also ne seen in Shashank Khaitan's Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari which also features Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul etc.
