Bollywood Celebs React To Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder Case: The horrific murder and rape case of the 31-year-old doctor Moumita Debnath have left entire nation in shock Countless protests have erupted across the nation, especially in Kolkata, ever since the horrific incident took place. On August 9, the body of the 31-year-old medical trainee named Moumita Debnath was discovered in a lecture hall of RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata.

Bollywood celebs including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma among others strongly reacted to the horrific incident and demanded justice for Moumita on their respective social media handles.

From Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ayushmann Khurrana to Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Vir Das among others, took to their respective social media accounts and expressed their utter rage against the shameful and horrific incident.

1) Kareena Kapoor Khan

A while ago, Kareena Kapoor Khan took to Instagram and evoked the terrors of the brutal Nirbhaya case that happened over a decade ago.

2) Ayushmann Khurrana

Reacting to the Kolkata doctor rape-murder case, Ayushmann Khurrana shared a poem on Instagram titled 'Kaash Main Bhi Ladka Hoti' (I wish I were a boy).

3) Alia Bhatt

Like everyone, Alia also voiced her her rage and shock over the incident. She also mentioned disturbing data from the NCRB 2022 study and brought attention to the number of crimes committed against women which has increased by 4% since 2022, with more than 20% of these crimes being rape or assault.

Comedian-actor Vir Das took to Twitter (now X) and questioned the government about women's safety.
