Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder Case: For the people who are unknown, a young post-graduate doctor of RG Kar Kolkata, which is a government-run hospital, was brutally gang-raped and murdered while she was on duty at the late night of August 9. Now, celebrities have come in support to stand against the crime and raised their voice for justice. From Kangana Ranaut to Manushi Chillar to Mouni Roy, everyone spoke against the horrific crime and demanded stringent action.

Celebrities Raised Their Voice For The Justice Of The Kolkata Doctor In The Murder-Rape Case

Kangana Ranaut, the recently turned BJP MP, took to Instagram and demanded a CBI to take over the case, she wrote, "Murder of a trainee woman doctor at state-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata is horrible & horrific. The semi-nude body of the woman post-graduate trainee doctor was found inside the seminar hall on Friday morning. She was brutally murdered and her body bore multiple injury marks. The preliminary autopsy report indicated sexual abuse before her murder. I hope case is transferred to CBI for complete inquiry and the assaulter is punished harshly."

The former Miss World, Manushi Chillar, who is also a MBBS graduate, took to Instagram and shared a post which is widely circulated around social media. The post urges non-medical professionals to join hands together and demand justice for the doctor.

The same post was shared by other celebrities as well including Mouni Roy, Pulkit Samrat, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin, among others while seeking justice for the young girl.
