Laapataa Ladies Enters Oscars 2025: Laapataa Ladies has officially entered Oscars 2025. To note, themovie is directed by Kiran Rao and is co-produced by Kiran's ex Aamir Khan. After the movie's release on OTT, it garnered much praise from the fans. Laapataa Ladies was released on Netflix on April 26, 2024. Oscars 2025 is held on March 3 at 5.30 am IST.

Laapataa Ladies stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam and Ravi Kishan. The confirmation of the mvoie entering the Oscars came a few days after director after Kiran Rao claimed that it is her dream that Laapataa Ladies goes to the Oscars.

Another declared the movie to be, "It should the best movie of the year❤️." Others continued to call Laapataa Ladies to be "well deserving" for Oscars 2025.

DYK Laapataa Ladies Director Kiran Rao Manifested Going At Oscars?

Last week when the members of The Film Federation of India gathered in Chennai, they discussed about sending Laapataa Ladies to the 97th Academy Awards. During the same event, Kiran Rao spoke to PTI. She said, "My dream would be fulfilled if it was, if it would go (to Oscars). But it's a process, and I'm hoping it'll (the movie Laapataa Ladies) be considered." She further added, "I'm sure the best film will go, whoever they choose in the scheme of things."
