Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Mumbai Voting: The fifth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is currently underway across 49 constituencies in six states and two Union Territories. This phase is particularly significant, featuring high-profile seats such as Rae Bareli and Amethi in Uttar Pradesh, and six seats in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

BOLLYWOOD CELEBS SNAPPED AT POLLING BOOTHS TO CAST THEIR VOTES

Prior to the polling in Mumbai, several Bollywood celebrities encouraged citizens to vote. Leading by example, several celebs including Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, and Sanya Malhotra among others were seen at the polling stations, completing their civic responsibility.

They even posed for photographers with their inked fingers, a customary gesture signifying they had cast their vote.

The participation of Bollywood stars in the elections emphasizes the vital role public figures play in promoting democratic values and encouraging voting. Their involvement can shape public opinion and boost voter turnout, demonstrating that every vote matters.

AKSHAY KUMAR & OTHER BOLLYWOOD CELEBS POSE WITH INKED FINGERS

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar was among the first celebrities to arrive and casted his vote at the booth. Interestingly, this marks his first vote after he got Indian citizenship.

Bollywood director-turned-actor Farhan Akhtar was snapped at the polling booth with sister Zoya Akhtar and mother Honey Irani. Later, taking to Instagram, the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag star posted a photo and asked other Mumbaikars to cast their vote.

He wrote, "Come on Mumbai. Time to step up and do your duty as a citizen. Get involved and vote for the candidate you know is representing your values and concerns. The candidate who will address your issues and speak for you when the time comes. Every vote matters. Jai Hind."

Mr and Mrs Mahi lead stars Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor also fulfilled their civic duty and got snapped separately at the booths. While the actress looked beautiful in a pink anarkali suit, Rao opted for a casual T-shirt and cap.
