Malaika Arora father death reason: Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora's father Anil Arora allegedly died by suicide on Wednesday (September 11) morning. The news of his demise has sent shockwaves across the film industry. According to a report in PTI, Anil Arora allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the sixth floor of a building in Mumbai's Bandra.

Anil Arora reportedly died by suicide after jumping off the terrace of his apartment in Mumbai. The Police have started an investigation into the matter. Malaika Arora, who was in Pune at the time of the incident, rushed to the Maximum City. Her former husband Arbaaz Khan arrived at the residence to take stock of the situation.

WHAT MUMBAI POLICE SAID ABOUT MALAIKA ARORA FATHER SUICIDE?

The Mumbai Police officials rushed to the incident spot and shifted Arora to a hospital. He was declared dead before arrival. The poilce said that the exact reason behind his 'suicide' is not known yet. The official told a news agency that an investigation is currently underway.

According to reports, the Arora clan is shocked as Anil Arora was not suffering from any ailment.

"It's true that Malaika's father passed away this morning. He has not committed suicide, it's an accident. They all are shocked because he had no ailment or anything as such," a source told PTI. The police 'panchnama' is expected to give a clear picture.

ARBAAZ KHAN ARRIVES AT MALAIKA ARORA'S RESIDENCE

Arbaaz, who was married to Malaika, arrived at her building in Mumbai. He was one of the first family members to visit her residence after receiving the unfortunate news. The actor was snapped by the paparazzi as he visited his former wife's home.
