Salman Khan Was Almost About To Tie The Knot

Salman Khan was once in a relationship with actress Sangeets Bijlani. They were reportedly in relationship in late 1980s and early 19902. Both were engaged and were reportedly all set to tie the knot. The duo were in serious relationship for around 8 years. They planned an engagement in 1994. Salman and Sangeeta's wedding were set to take place and even the invitation card was printed.

But, the wedding never happed. Why exactly? According to the reports, Salman was caught cheating Sangeeta with Somy Ali. Somy confirmed to TimesNow about the cheatin. She said, "I was living in Vindyachal (Uttar Pradesh) at that time. Salman used to climb the pipes and come to my room through my window. I found this act of Salman utterly romantic." However once when Somy and Salman were spending some quality time, both were caught red handed by Sangeeta. Somy said, "Salman and I were sitting and talking in my room and Sangeeta walked in suddenly. She looked at Salman and said, 'This is it. You have to make a choice.'" Somy believed that Salman would move on with Sangeeta as they had their wedding cards printed already. "But he came back to the room and told me that he had broken up with Sangeeta and he wanted to be with me. I felt like it was fate," said Somy. Somy later apologized to Sangeeta for breaking her marriage with Salman.
