Exclusive! Metro In Dino Actor Rohan Gurbaxani Says, "In Every Relationship There's Some Complication"

Rohan Gurbaxani made his acting debut with Made In Heaven, and was later seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan in which he was paired opposite Ananya Panday. The actor was recently seen in a music video titled Assi Sajna, and Filmibeat spoke to him about the song, his upcoming projects, relationships, and more...

Your music video Assi Sajna released a few weeks ago, so what response are your getting for it?

It has been great. People are really loving it; it is trending on Instagram. Lots of people are making videos on it, so that's a great sign. Also, I think it is a nice song for the monsoon weather.

Last year, we saw you in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. So, we would like to know how many hate messages did you receive for what you did with Ananya Panday's character in the film?

(Laughs) Surprisingly, all the messages that I received were quite matured responses. It was like 'I didn't like your character, which means you did a good job'. Even till today, they say, 'I like you as a person, but I still don't like the guy who I saw on screen'. So, that is a big compliment for me.

Have you been in any kind of complicated relationship in real-life?

Of course yaar! In school and college, if you are dating someone there's always some complication, not talking about cheating. But yes, in every relationship there's some complication which either improves the relationship or ends the relationship. So, it has definitely happened with me, and I have learnt a lot, over the years. My relationships in life have taught me a lot about myself and has always shaped me as a person.

You are relatively a newcomer in the industry, so do you have wish list like you want to work with particular directors?

Definitely, I have a long list. One of them would be Imtiaz Ali, another would be Hansal Mehta, Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali; there are so many.

An actor or actress you really wish to work with and share screen space with...

Actor I would say Shahid Kapoor, and actress I would say Wamiqa Gabbi.

So, what's happening next?

I am currently working on Anurag Basu's next film, Metro In Dino and I have Bandish Bandits season 2 also coming out this year. They both should come out end of this year sometime.
