Mr And Mrs Mahi: Will Janhvi Kapoor And Rajkummar Rao Recreate The Magic Again?

Mr And Mrs Mahi: Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will be seen together on the big screens in Karan Johar's production venture Mr And Mrs Mahi. The trailer of the film was released a couple of days ago, and while it is quite interesting, some netizens feel that the makers have shown the whole story in it. In the trailer, one thing that grabbed everyone's attention was a few lines of the song Shava Shava from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

The makers are coming up with a track title Dekhha Tenu which is a recreated version of Shava Shava. In fact, if we look at the lyrics it has the word 'Mahi' in it, and that's why maybe the makers decided to use the song; "Dekha tainu pehli pehli baar ve, Hone laga dil bekaraar ve, Rabba mainu ki ho gaya dil jaaniye.. Haaye mainu ki ho gaya. Sunke teri baatein sone yaar ve, Mahi mainu tere naal pyaar ve, Haaye main mar jawaan dil jaaniye.."

During this whole part, the original song featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji, and of course, they had created a magic in it. But now, everyone is wondering whether, Janhvi and Rajkummar will be able to recreate the magic.

Filmibeat did a poll on Twitter, and asked netizens whether they feel if Janhvi and Rajkummar will be able to do justice to the song or not. We gave our followers two options, 'Yes, absolutely' and 'No, they will ruin it'.

Mr And Mrs Mahi, which is directed by Sharan Sharma, is slated to release on 31st May 2024. It is Sharan and Janhvi's second film together after Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
