Mr. & Mrs. Mahi Release: After the 2021 horror-comedy Roohi, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have joined hands once again for a movie and this time, it's a romantic sports-drama. Titled Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, the film is directed by Sharan Sharma (Of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl fame). The tagline of one of the posters reads, 'A Googly Of A Love Story'. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this film. It's a love story that is blended with cricket.

Announced in November 2021 with Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead, the film is a romantic love story set against the backdrop of cricket. Janhvi had to undergo rigorous cricket training for the film.

Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Boney Kapoor's Zee Studios, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is scheduled to hit cinemas on 31st May 2024!

Besides Rajkummar and Janhvi, the film also boats an ensemble of talented actors including Kumud Mishra as Rajkummar's father, Abhishek Banerjee and Zarina Wahab in important roles. The movie revolves around the story of Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, an 'imperfectly perfect' couple who fights against all odds to discover their dreams.

The trailer offers a sneak peek into the life of Rajkummar and Janhvi's lives who are both passionate for cricket. Rajkummar's character is an aspiring cricketer whose dream of of becoming a cricketer gets shattered because of his father.

On the other hand, Janhvi is a doctor who plays cricket exceptionally well. The duo get married and Rajkummar promises to make his wife a cricketer to pursuit his dream. However, their lives take a dramatic turn.
