Earlier, a source revealed when Munjya will be available for streaming on Hotstar. The industry khabri exclusively informed Filmibeat, "Disney+Hotstar has purchased the digital rights of Munjya. The streaming platform recently launched Life Hill Gayi to keep the audience engaged. The series has received a good response and now, the executives at Hotstar are looking to spice up things with the digital premiere on Munjya. They are expected to announce the OTT release date of Munjya soon. As multiple films including Stree 2, Veda, Khel Khel Mein released in the Indepence Day 2024 weekend, the streaming platform has not decided to premiere the horror comedy. The film is rumoured to be premiering either in the last week of August or first week of September, coinciding with the Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 celebrations."
