70th National Film Awards 2024 Winners: The winners of the 70th National Film Awards have been announced today, August 16. This highly regarded ceremony, known for revealing its results on the day of the declaration, has stirred significant excitement. The awards have recognized films that received certification between January 1 and December 31, 2022.

Best Director: Rs. 2,50,000

Best Feature Film: Rs. 2,50,000

Best Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment: Rs. 2,00,000

Best Childrens Film: Rs. 1,50,000

Best Animated Film: Rs. 1,00,000

Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director: Rs. 1,25,000

On the other hand, the Rajat Kamal category features a range of acting and technical awards, including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Child Artist, Best Music Direction, and Best Playback Singer, among others. Winners in these categories receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000 each.

Additionally, the Rajat Kamal category includes prestigious awards like the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration and the award for Best Film on Social Issues, both of which come with a cash prize of Rs 1,50,000.
