Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Elder Brother Ayazuddin Arrested

According to a report published by ETimes, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's elder brother Ayazuddin Siddqui, who hails from Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested in an alleged fraud case. Reportedly, he was taken into police custody on Wednesday (May 22, 2024) by the Budhana Police in suspicion of forgery.

If reports are to believed, Ayazuddin has been accused of fraudulently issuing order letter to the consolidation department on behalf of the District Magistrate court in connection with an ongoing farm land dispute with a person named Javed Iqbal.

As per reports, Ayazuddin had given the copy of the alleged order letter to the office of consolidation department in December along with an application in his dispute with Javed over his farming land. It was later discovered that the order letter forged.

As a result of this, earlier in March this year, a case was registered against Ayazuddin and Javed under sections of 420, 467, 468 and471 of IPC on the basis of District Magistrate's complaint.

However, it is not the first time that Nawazuddin's brother has been embroiled in controversies. Back in 2018, he was aparently booked for allegedly posting an objectionable picture hurting religious sentiments.
